A few cocktail recipes for the weekend

March 27th, 2009 by John

The Finest Call range of cocktail mixes are the highest quality, most bartender friendly mixes in the world, but they are also perfect for the enthusiastic home amateur too!

We’ve collected a few recipes together which make great use of the Finest Call drinks. Hope you enjoy!

Finest Call Pina Colada

Finest Call Pina Colada

Pina Colada

  • Five parts Pina Colada mix
  • One part fresh cream
  • Two parts lemonade
  • Add a hand full of crushed ice
  • Blend in a cocktail shaker
  • Garnish with a pineapple wedge

Bloody Mary

  • Five parts Bloody Mary mix
  • Two parts tonic water
  • Two drops Angostura bitters (optional – Angostura bitters are alcoholic but because only a drop or two is used you would find as much alcohol in our de-alocoholised wines and beers. Leave out if you want the drink to remain totally non-alcoholic).
  • Shake and pour over ice cubes
  • Serve in a highball glass
  • Garnish with a celery stick and ground black pepper

Margarita

  • Two parts Margarita Mix
  • Two parts tonic water or lemonade
  • Pour into cocktail shaker full of ice
  • Coat rim of martini glass with lime juice and dip into salt
  • Strain into glass and add a slice of fresh orange

Cosmopolitan

  • Three parts Cosmopolitan Mix
  • Two parts soda water or lemonade
  • Stir in a cocktail shaker full of ice and strain into a chilled martini glass
  • Garnish with slice of fresh orange

Strawberry split

  • Three parts Stawberry Mix
  • One part Monin Amaretto (Carribean or Irish will do)
  • One part lemonade or soda water
  • Two scoops vanilla ice cream
  • One part whipped cream
  • Blend together first four ingredients and pour into a volcano glass. Top with whipped cream (You may replace the ice cream with two table spoons of double cream and blend with crushed ice until smooth)
  • Garnish with sliced strawberry
