Free delivery offer

Subscribe to our newsletter and order at least 12 bottles of wine to receive free delivery on your entire order!

We operate a 100% anti-spam policy and we only email you infrequently with our newsletter. We never pass your email address on to anyone else and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Use Google Checkout and receive free delivery on orders of 12 or more bottles of wine without subscribing to our newsletter! (Although we'd still be pleased if you would so we can keep in touch!)

Important delivery notes

Please note we currently only ship to mainland UK (excluding some parts of the Scottish Highlands) due to high shipping costs and the risk of breakages. We hope to rectify this in the future.

Packages are shipped via Royal Mail or a courier depending on the weight of the order and the contents. If you are based in the North West of England, you might prefer to collect?

Items are grouped according to the cost to package and send them. It costs more to package and safely deliver bottles of beer and wine than it does, for example, to send beauty products which can usually be delivered in a padded envelope.

Health & Beauty products marked by the envelope icon will cost £1.49 to deliver, but if you spend over £15 on these items, delivery is free.

Subscribe to our newsletter and order at least 12 bottles of wine to receive free delivery on your entire order for unlimited purchases from any of the above product groups.

If you order from two different product groups you pay just the higher delivery cost eg for a combined order of 12 wine bottles (£5.99 delivery cost) and beauty products or chocolates (£2.50 delivery cost), you pay just £5.99.Items will be shipped as soon as possible and normally within two or three days. Courier items are sent next-day delivery (Monday to Friday only) from date of despatch. Larger orders may have to be sent on a pallet. Delivery for pallet orders is 2-3 days from the date of despatch. The driver will help you unpack the order and remove the pallet and any waste.

Please do not order unless there will be someone available to sign for the delivery or you opt for your order to be left in a safe place. High-value orders will not be left without a signature.

There may be times when despatch will take longer and we will endeavour to tell you as soon as possible if this is the case.

Collection

You may collect your order from us directly at our Ancoats warehouse in Manchester, and pay no delivery charge.

On the checkout page, you will be given a choice of delivery or collection. If you choose collection, you will be emailed when your order is ready for collection.

Please note this is a collection service only, we do not operate a shop you can visit and browse.

Courier deliveries

Deliveries take place Monday to Friday, anytime between 8am to 6pm. During busy periods such as Christmas, drivers may deliver outside of these hours.

We cannot guarantee morning or afternoon deliveries. Please do not book a delivery unless somebody will be in to accept it.

Saturday delivery is available for a surcharge of £14.99. If you want to book Saturday delivery, please contact us.

Our couriers require a signature when they deliver a parcel. If you ask for a parcel to be left without a signature (for instance, in your shed or outside your front door), you agree to accept liability for any loss should the package go missing after it is left.

If you are out when the parcel is delivered, you will be left a card with contact details of our couriers. You need to call them to arrange a new delivery slot or arrange to collect from your local depot. If you do not arrange this within 5 days of the card, your order will be automatically returned to us and a new delivery will have to be booked and paid for.

Please be aware you can not change the delivery address (ie from home to work) after a delivery job is booked without incurring a new delivery charge.

Minimum Quantities

Unlike some shops, we do not have a minimum order for wine bottles.

Breakages

Our priority is to get your products delivered to you as quickly and safely as possible. However, there is no way to be 100% sure that a package will survive the journey intact. We will replace or refund the cost of any items that arrive broken but you must inform the courier on receipt of the package. We cannot be responsible for any breakages reported after the courier has left your premises.

Returns

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification, items such as cosmetics that, by reason of their nature, cannot be returned or perishable goods (e.g. food and flowers).

To cancel, you can email us or write to us (see contact us for details) within seven working days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them.

For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service with adequate insurance to cover the value of the items.

Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand.

Other notes

For reasons of security we will only ship to the billing address on the credit card when you order online. If this is not convenient please contact us and we will make an alternative arrangement (we will need to verify your identity to do this). Packages may require a signature on delivery. If no one is available when the package is delivered you may need to collect this from a local post office or depot.
